Mikey Cheshier and Firewind Ministries has been providing “spirit lead” ministry for many years. It is our mission to reach the lost, edify the saints, and challenge the hearts of all believers to be the best we can be for our Lord. We believe the best way to achieve this goal is through evangelistic outreach and special missions projects as the Lord directs.

Mikey Cheshier began serving the Lord at the ripe age of 6 years old. He was involved in mission projects on 3 continents before the age of 12. After a severe burn in his childhood he dedicated himself fully the Lord’s work. In 2001 he came along side his parents and joined in Firewind Ministries, serving as an associate missionary/evangelist. In 2002 A great blessing was bestowed on Mikey’s life when God provided a wonderful and Godly wife in Shereen.  After meeting on a missions’ trip in the remote regions of east Africa, Mikey and Shereen became aware of God’s guiding hand in their union. Today the two of them make up a powerful ministry team for the Lord’s work. Mikey has made it his commitment to reach a fading church with the inspiration of God’s present day desire to move in and through us.

Facts

In 1982 Mikey was burned horribly in a accidental gas fire at the families home in southern Louisiana. During this time the Lord showed himself mighty through miracle after miracle. Even death was not the end as the Lord raised Mikey from death on more than one occasion whilst battling the result of the burn. This amazing story of triumph has seen right round 100,000 people saved.

In 2002 Mikey was diagnosed with terminal lymphoma. A tumor 22” x 16” x 8” was present in his chest and wrapped around his organs. After 3 months of chemotherapy and numerous surgeries, Mikey did the unthinkable. With a wife of only 2 months and a brand new staff position Mikey willfully stopped his treatments and left his life to God’s hands. Now the testimony of the victory has touched thousands and stands as a beacon of God’s present day movements to the “believer”.

Mikey has ministered at several state youth camps, kid’s camps, district events, and missions project coordinator.  He has preached in many of our fifty stats as well as dozens of overseas locations. He, along with Firewind Ministries, has been instrumental in planting literally dozens of churches just in the last few years.

Mikey was filled with the Holy Spirit at the age of 7 years old.  In his short 30 years at the time of this writing, He has seen hundreds of miracles and manifestations.  All manner of miracles has been seen in this ministry including everything from blindness to heal spurs being mended. Dozens of addicts have been delivered during revivals. Mikey has but one hope in this life, “to be one of the most dangerous tools God has for use on earth”.
