Now God worked unusual miracles by the hands of Paul, so that even handkerchiefs or aprons were brought from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them and the evil spirits went out of them.                                                                Acts 19:11

I have a friend that says a sign and a wonder is simply a sign that makes you wonder. Signs and wonders have been for a large part absent from the church for so long that many of us don’t really know what they are or what they are not. A healing or a miracle is not generally a sign and/or a wonder. Moses experienced signs and wonders in his lifetime. He saw the Red Sea part before him and all of Israel. Joshua, Elijah and Elisha saw a similar sign from God. Joshua and Elisha both experienced the parting of the Jordan River on separate occasions, while they crossed as a sign to the people that God’s favor and anointing was upon them. The children of Israel had the glory cloud and pillar of fire as a sign to them that God was with them and leading them. Moses saw a bush that was on fire, yet it was not consumed as a sign to him that it was really God who was speaking to him. The scripture is full of signs and wonders.

We have began to experience these kinds of phenomena as the glory of God invades our lives. My wife and I have attended some services where there were signs and wonders. In these meetings we both had gold dust on our hands and clothes each night that we attended. When we came back home, we immediately began to see this phenomena manifest in our church. I thought that I was perfectly alright with this type of sign, but when it happened in the meetings that I was personally responsible for, something in me became unsure. I had never anticipated that I would feel this way. It was an inward struggle that had to be overcome. I knew the signs were from God, yet there was still a reservation inside of me. One afternoon I prayed for the Lord to help me get this settled in my spirit. The next day I came home from a tremendous lunch hour prayer meeting and sat at the kitchen table. The glory was so strong on me that no one spoke, which is very unusual at our house. We sat there, my wife and I, just soaking in the presence of God. Nancy, my wife, looked at her hands and her clothes and saw that she was covered in gold dust. Our middle child came in and sat at the table. We watched him as gold dust began to form on his face and hands. The same thing happened as our youngest child and then our daughter came and joined us at the table. We all sat there covered with gold dust soaking in a heavy presence of God’s glory . From that moment on it was common for our kid to have this heavenly gold on their faces, hands and clothes. One morning our daughter came into our bedroom as we were getting ready asking what we were listening to. We often listen to some of our favorite preachers or teachers as we get ready for the day. We told her, and she said that she was getting so much gold dust on her face that she couldn’t put on her makeup.

A member of the church approached me because he had heard of what was happening in our home and about how the presence of God had been so strong. He asked me to come to his house and pray that God’s glory would saturate his home also. I recommended that he pray over his own house first. He went home and prayed for the presence of God to invade his house as I had instructed. God heard his prayer and began to visit his home in a powerful way. They would sit in their living room in the evening and just soak in the manifest presence of God that had been released in response to their prayers. During that time they even had sterling silver jewelry turn to gold right before their eyes.

As word of these unusual signs began to get out, (I might add that we were not broadcasting this news. People are not always very accepting of such things) we began to have people call and visit the church from all over the region. Pastors and leaders of ministries began to flood into our church as God broke out in new and exciting ways.

Since then we have experienced many signs and wonders. People have had supernatural oil appear in their hands, heavenly fragrances have manifested in prayer meetings, some have felt the ground shaking, and several times people have heard angels singing during worship services. On one account we watched a woman’s eyes change from brown in color to blue as we ministered to her. We asked the Lord why He did this, and He said to us that every time she looked in the mirror it would be a sign for her to remind her of the incredible change that had taken place in her heart.

I believe we are going to see signs and wonders in the heavens more and more. We have been around several ministries that have experienced heavenly signs such as rain and even earthquakes. We have began to notice that as we go out to preach, the rain seems to follow. I think God is trying to get our attention so that we could testify of the power of God and his authority even over nature. In one city we stayed in a hunting lodge. The owner, who was not a believer, was very friendly, and we had the opportunity to visit with him several times. He had overheard us in our room singing a worship song about the rains coming down. He told us that his area had been in a drought and that if it rained while we were there then we must really be servants of God. Within a few hours the drought came to an end as the rain began to fall and did not stop for the duration of our stay. It even rained for about another ten hours after we left. He gave us an open invitation to come back anytime.

God is showing forth His power in many ways to get the attention of all who will listen. Time is getting shorter. Let’s take full advantage of every opportunity that God provides so that we can bring in a bountiful harvest of souls for His Kingdom.

See John 12:37-41. John said that Jesus did many signs among the people of Israel but they still did not believe. In the verses that follow he tells us why. Isaiah had given a prophecy that God would harden their hearts and blind their eyes. If you know your bible you will know that this was necessary so that the Gentiles would have a chance to enter into the kingdom of God. This is known as the Dispensation of Grace for the Gentiles (a Gentile is someone who is not a Jew). Because the Jews could not see the messiah it created a gap or a space for the Gentiles to come into the kingdom of God. If they would have seen Jesus as Messiah they would have asked God to bring them into the fullness of their destiny and God would have heard their prayers and according to John healed them. They would have pulled the gap for the Gentiles closed and the rest of the world would not have had the opportunity to hear the gospel. This is where it gets interesting. God did not blind the gentiles. He invited them to lay hold of the inheritance provided for them through His death on the cross. This still includes you and I today. The fact that we can see makes us accountable. If the Jews had seen they would have asked and received. This was such a problem God had to blind them from seeing truth. We are not blind. Through the cross the power of God has been made accessible to us if we will ask. For far to long we have made excuses as to why we have not experienced the healings and miracles that are an inherent part of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Jesus rebuked many of the cities of Israel and said that if the miracles performed in them would have been done in Sodom it would still be here today. Sodom would have repented had it seen the works of Christ manifested. There was intercession for the city of Sodom but the power of God was not revealed. This is a good picture of the church of America today. We have interceded yet we have not stepped forward to show forth the power of God. It is time to become Christ like in every way. Not only in character but in power. It was signs and wonders that would have saved Sodom. Is there anyone out there who will step forward and become a modern day miracle worker. This is not to far out there for us to grasp. It is our destiny. It is our call as a believer in Jesus Christ. I believe God is raising up a people today who will do the things Jesus did and even greater things. The power of God is availible. The title of this article is, “If you can see it you can have it”. Who will rise up an lay hold of what God has openly showed us so that we might preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ with signs and wonders following?

Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: “Whom shall I send, And who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.”  Isaiah 6:8

Here is a statement that is not a theory but a reality, “nothing is too hard for God”. It seems that sometimes as Christians we say it but when it comes down to the moment that we really need a miracle we turn everywhere else first. The bible teaches us that without faith it is impossible to please God but with faith all things are possible. What if we as the body of Christ were to take a stand in our city to overcome things like addictions, sickness, depression, fear, broken relationships and even financial hardships. The word of God teaches on faith and believing. The book of Matthew say’s, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed,… Nothing will be impossible for you”. We have an incredible opportunity to make a difference. Lets win our city for Christ. If nothings impossible for us then why wait for some else to do it. Why not us, why not now? If our faith is not followed by action then it is not really faith at all only a good thought or intention. But faith put into action will release the power of God into our lives and into our city. The bible says in Proverbs that hope deferred makes the heart sick. Let us ardently refuse to hold back the incredible hope that we have in our Messiah and our Savior the Lord Jesus Christ. I heard a man recently say that the phrase “boring Christian” is an oxymoron. The good news we preach is the most exciting thing on the planet. What could be better than letting everyone know that the creator of the universe is interested in you. His thoughts are constantly on you. Even if you are up to your elbows in sin. Some may be abused and some may be the abuser but regardless God will never stop pursuing after you with his incredible love. He is relentlessly in love with you and has taken extreme measures to prove it by sending his Son to die in our place for our sins. Wow!!! Let me encourage you to make your stand now. Rise up to fulfill your God given destiny, the God ordained plans for your life. Be a part of what God is doing on the earth and in our city. Dedicate your land and your children for his purposes. Give your life to His service daily. Let the fiery baptism of His Spirit change you into an on fire, lively hero for Christ. Now is not a time to shrink back but to make our mark on Gods kingdom. He has given us His word that nothing is too hard for Him. Let us take Him at His word and advance the fight for lost souls in our city. May God richly bless you as hunger and thirst after more of God and His plans for your life. I assure you that you will not be disappointed but will be blown away at the amazing things he has in store for you.

Pastor Shannon Vinsonhaler

Our God is a God of the miraculous. According to His word, He is able
to do anything we ask in the name of His son Jesus. It has been my
privilege to witness God perform amazing healings and miracles, many of
which have been over the past few weeks. Miracles such as people who
have had to take daily pain pills for various reasons like arthritis
and feet and back problems being healed and no longer needing
medication. We have even seen God open the ears of the deaf and have
had tumors disappear. Our God is good, and it is not a sin to think
that God would like to save you some money on costly prescriptions and
medical bills not to mention the relief of the pain and suffering that
many go through every day. Because He is good, it should not be a
foreign thought that he will heal us of various sickness and
infirmities if we ask Him. According to the Word of God, Jesus paid the
price for our healing.

I want to challenge you to believe God to heal your body and see
what happens. I pray for you right now in the name of Jesus to be
healed of every kind of sickness and disease. I command the pain to
leave your body. I speak to fibromyalgia, migraines and arthritis to
go, tumors to shrink and cancer to die. I command every infirmity to
leave your body right now. I pray for God’s peace to fill you and for
the fire of God to burn all throughout your body in Jesus name.Check
your body and see what’s happening. Do something you could not do
before, and don’t be surprised if God has healed you.
We have even seen people lose weight instantly. Who would like to see
that kind of miracle? There is no limit to what God can do. Much of the
body of Christ is not praying for the sick to be healed, so of course
the sick are staying sick, and many are even dying before their time.
God is healing people all over the world every day when individuals
like you and I step out in faith and pray for the sick to be well,
giving God all the Glory. Here is what Jesus said during the time he
walked the earth, “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me,
the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he
will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name,
that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask
anything in My name, I will do it.“These are incredible words that are
hard for us to believe, but it is what we are called to do.
Will you take up this challenge and believe God to see the works of
Christ accomplished in and through your life? If we as the body of
Christ will rise to such an occasion, we will see a great harvest of
souls.I pray that the spirit of God begins to stir a fiery passion in you, a
passion that drives you deeper and deeper into His incredible presence
and His healing power. May God bless you with peace and joy as you
faithfully serve our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

The word of God says that God will do above what we expect and He did. The first two nights were great. I included some of the details in the last update. The last night on Tuesday was one of the best nights. The presence of God was thick. One of the youth opened the service with a song and the presence of God flooded in. Todd ministered on the need to take what is happening in the church out into the city. During ministry time Todd gave a word of knowledge and/or a prophetic word to every person that came forward. There were so many people healed in the meetings that it would be to lenghty to list. God did such a deep work. It is hard to express the deep things of the heart that God has done for all of us. Overall it is my opinion that this was one of the best series of meeting that we have had in my time here as pastor of this church. Thanks Todd and Angela, we love you guys. Anyways, I hope you have enjoyed the updates on this series of meetings. If you have any comments or would like more details let me know. God Bless you all.
